His Hotel Congress stage is a sight to behold. I'd always wondered about the numbers on it. Thanks for this.

yeah, he's a tucsonan and a friend of mine. i've never met a more earnest artist that has succeeded on the level he has. i can't wait to check out some of the rebuilt hotels in new orleans that he designed the fixtures for.

TMC baby, UofA dropout, Lifestyle enhancement guru. I try to fly under the radar in this town. Actually, I don't really have to try. I poke my head out on 4th every so rarely, and if I remember correctly, I probably read your column on the way to the crossword puzzle...?

Funny how every other art post on Metafilter seems to feature the kind of art you can see in the art 'zine "Juxtapoz." (Not a dis; I like this guy's work.)

I know what you mean, kozad, but it *is* hard to argue with wonderfully creepy stuff like this. I like this style a lot; if Juxtapoz likes it too that's ok with me. Thanks, grapefruitmoon.
