This post was deleted for the following reason: I'm not sure where all the "I hate philly" stuff is coming from, here and in AskMe, but this is a weak one link news post. -- jessamyn

Yeah, shit's pretty off the hook. That's not much of an FPP, though. In the off chance it stays up I'll add Philly Confidential which is a blog run by the Daily News crime beat reporters that tries to stay on top of the body count (they're a couple behind at the moment). If you're interested in following crime only, this is a good way to do it without having to sift through much Philly related news. I should disclose that they recently picked up on a web project of mine and I'm linked to twice on the first page.

Gotta love those "Action News" TV sites, eh? The grinning anchors: generic and interchangeable television creatures (they grow 'em in vats), inevitable picture of the Action News van: (Wow! They have a vehicle! They use it to go to where news is breaking!). The little graphics (like the one on this link, with the word "Murder" and some yellow crime scene tape.) All so hopelessly unimaginative, standardized, mind-numbing. And creepy as hell.
