Another web cam of a wild bald eagle nest on Santa Cruz island off the Southern California coast. Their egg recently hatched and you can occasionally catch them feeding the cute little hatchling.

I remember the first time I saw a bald eagle. Port Townsend, WA outside of that diner on Water Street. I walked outside and bumped into a guy that was standing on the sidewalk, staring up into the sky. He told me to stop and listen. I heard this noise that I had never heard. He pointed up and there they were. Bene-Postus!

The first time I saw a Bald Eagle I was stopped at a red light. I couldn't believe what I saw soaring in the sky. A Bald Eagle? In New Jersey?! It was all over the local paper two days later. There is a nesting pair in that area, and also another pair thirty miles south. But in the five years or so that they've been around, neither pair has successfully raised chicks yet.
