I can understand why the Braves are so loathed outside of Atlanta, but those of us here are questionning this a bit. Whether you like Ted Turner or hate Ted Turner, he brought (or bought) the right people to build a successful program. As just another piece of a huge corporate and bureaucratic mega company, will that committment still stand.

Can they layoff Greg Maddux?

It might happen. Maddux doesn't fit into the AOL/Time Warner culture -- he gets results.
