A cute little webcam that isn't obviously one. It even has this thing that tells time. (via)

I think you mean "this thing which tells time", ObscureReferenceMan.

Clock. They call that thing a clock.

mr_crash_davis writes "Clock. They call that thing a clock."

It's a Christmas Story quote:
an official Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot range model air rifle, with a compass in the stock and this thing which tells time

That is crazy talk, B-han.
Like you guys could deal with frosting.

Judging by the way many webcams are used shouldn't the camera be located in the groin instead of the head?

Can't sleep, frosting will eat me.

"It's a Christmas Story quote"

Ah, I should have known. One of my favorite holiday movies.

Miss Shields: [reading Ralphie's theme in his fantasy, she clutches his essay to her chest] Oh! The theme I've been waiting for all my life. Listen to this sentence: "A Red Ryder BB gun with a compass in the stock, and this thing which tells time". Poetry. Sheer poetry, Ralph! An A+!

I was too busy being amused by the Hudsucker Proxy reference to notice the Xmas Story one. Nice one, brother!

Thanks for the correction, chud!

That was no correction, that was an incorrection. You had it right the first time (according to traditional grammar, which is obviously what we're talking about here).

No. We're talking about a direct quote from a much beloved xmas classic, so leave it be.

NOT A FINGAH!

Shoot. I was hoping for a bobble-head web cam.

What in God's good name are you doing with your webcam?

Reminds me of something my girlfriend did with my spare webcam. As the mounting gear had disappeared in the mists of time, she kidnapped one of my Bionicles and resused the legs as a stand for it.

Ummmm. Reused.

Your obviousometer needs to be calibrated to accept "movie quotes".

Shoot. I was hoping for a bobble-head web cam.

I got nauseated just thinking about the resulting footage. It's a good idea, though, for the less queasy.

Waitaminute...I know that line...What movie was that from? Spartacus? Ben Hur?

Ah, I remember:

Brutus: <stabbity stab stab>
Caesar: Et tu, Brute?
Brutus: Oops -- mea culpa!
