Please tell me that birth scene was one team's submission to the "Build a Von Neumann Machine" entry in the University of Chicago Scavenger Hunt. It's definitely a very very weird conflation of The Sorceror's Apprentice and the previous post about restaurant signs which feature suicide food.

Charming and ingenious in a light humored kind of way, thanks grapefruitmoon. The birthing one is hilarious. Enjoyed the anthropomorphised tea bag luxuriating in a hot tub, er, cup and the high as a kite one. A naughty 'pencil sharpener' sculpture at his Etsy store. Of course, they remined me of Alexander Calder's delightful wire sculptures. He said "I think best in wire."

Very nice! It sort of reminds me of a kinetic sculpture that Alexander Calder made that was exhibited in a museum in San Francisco. Bits of wire that became animated when a crank was rotated.
