It's because it is licking it's chops while staring at the head of the other kitty. It's not just a cable car operator, it's a zombie kitty cable car operator. Your feeling weirded out is perfectly natural. And I for one would like to hear more about how something cute can make Space Kitty angry. If we send you to icanhascheezburger will we throw you into a violent rage? Because that would be pretty awesome.

Why oh why does every imagined faux postcards or tourist snapshot of San Francisco somehow include a cable car and the Golden Gate bridge? (Which also invariably erroneously somehow appears towards bayside.) I don't think there's been any point in San Francisco's history where you could frame up a clear photo of a cable car, an open horizon and the Golden Gate bridge all in one shot. You know what happens when you take a picture in San Francisco? You get a picture of someone's driveway, porch, stoop, window, rooftop or balcony. Or one of a giant building. Unless you go up to Twin Peaks or something, and then it's all rooftops and balconies. I can only imagine that this is somehow tied to the fact that in the overwhelming majority of suicide attempts from the Golden Gate bridge people almost always jump towards the Bayside, and almost never toward the Pacific. I suppose this isn't any worse than those imagined postcards that feature the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn bridge all in one shot.

Yes, that was hilarious, Space Kitty. I remember some friends of mine describing something very similar about watching Hugh Jackman in X-Men. (btw, am I the only one who thinks that if a couple of guys went on out loud like that about an actress in a movie they'd be tarred & feathered, but if it's girls doing it, it somehow becomes ok?)
