He couldn't smoke now even if he wanted to.

I'd give him a dot, but I think I'll just burn some trees tonight in his honor instead.

rocket88 writes 'I told you that stuff will kill you.'

Yeah but at least he was able to benefit from medical marijuana in his final years.

So who gets to smoke his ashes?

Dr. Mikuriya suggests that smoking is bad for you.

.

His work has helped a lot of people, including several of my personal acquaintance. I only wish the rest of the country would adopt California's progressive stance, and that the federal gov't would stop the hassles.

Also, did anyone else notice his sister's name was Mary Jane?

Advocates of medical marijuana are only making it more difficult for those of us who just want to use the stuff for recreational purposes. It's like those "you can make all sorts of useful stuff from hemp" people.

The real issue is that the government has no goddamned business telling me what I can or cannot smoke. Better to deal with it head-on than in the aforesaid oblique manner.

I'd just like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that KPFA in Berkeley really rocks. Actually, it doesn't rock at all, but I think it's very cool. You don't have to ingest questionable substances in order to enjoy it, but it probably doesn't hurt.
