UFO visits India for outsourcing May 30, 2007 9:17 PM Subscribe
UFO sighted in Bangalore IndiaToday (Monday) at around 9 pm (IST), I and my brothers saw a bright, slow-moving object which looked like a group of lights moving in a triangular formation in the sky towards west/north-west direction. This object was definitely not an aeroplane as it was moving very slowly. posted by chrisranjana.com (10 comments total)

In related news, tonight in Chicago monkeys were seen flying out my butt, as pigs streamed across the skies. posted by ninjew at 9:29 PM on May 30, 2007
protip: things that are far appear to move slowly.
Perhaps it was the Greys stopping in for some boiled beans and a spot of tea. posted by exlotuseater at 9:33 PM on May 30, 2007
So it was a Flying Object?
And they couldn't identify it? It was Unidentifiable?
Sounds like a closed case to me. Next post... posted by Jimbob at 9:34 PM on May 30, 2007

May I start posting Bigfoot sightings as single Metafilter topics?
Seriously, unless the quality of evidence presented is a LOT better than what the article reports, it simply joins a long, long, list of marginal claims.
While I lean toward the Believer state wrt the ETH explanation of (some) UFOs, this one sighting is obviously pretty meh..
Suggested future guidelines:
1) Figures in authority (police, military)
2) Moving pictures
3) Other simultaneous evidence like radar tracks
4) Mass signting event ( > 100 witnesses) posted by Heywood Mogroot at 9:45 PM on May 30, 2007
