Back To The Future, Hill Valley is a "from the ground up" conversion of the videogame Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, with the goal being to re-set the game in the world of Doc Brown, Marty McFly & Biff Tannen. The part of the first video where GTA Marty takes two steps away from GTA Doc and then two steps back toward Doc made me smile. Does this help me get a pair of these?

I usually don't make the "too much time on his hands snark" but this seems less worthwile than cutting the grass with knitting shears or something.

I applaud that the last video seemed to be an unintentional style homage to Michael Jackson's "Black or White": a lot of action and substance, then the music abruptly stops and there's an akward sequence of the guy beating up a car. The rest I could take or leave.

I have been dreaming of a GTA:Hill Valley game for years now. I mean, it would be the perfect melding of two awesome franchises! While I appreciate the effort of this mod, it certainly doesn't live up to my idea of what a Hill Valley total conversion would be, in the end.

There's only one way to properly do a Back to the Future game that wouldn't suck. You have to build an engine that would allow you to play Marty McFly at the start of the first movie, and where you go is up to you. You can follow the movie to the letter, or you could opt to do something differently, and each action you made caused repercussions, some bigger than others. SPORE is the Space Invaders of games which, twenty years from now, might be able to properly do BTTF justice.

There are a number of changes made to support them — latching onto cars while on the hoverbike, flight mode on the modified delorean, 7-segment spedometer on the delorean, and the whole 88 mph == time travel thing.

SPORE is the Space Invaders of games which, twenty years from now, might be able to properly do BTTF justice. Possibly, because a game like that made on today's techniques would probably necessitate several shelves worth of high capacity DVDs for its data libraries.

Great thinking outside the box, but it would be better if you could use the DeLorean to get your time back after wasting so much playing video games. Also, on that platform, the shark would still look fake.

I wish I had this much time to waste. it would be better if you could use the DeLorean to get your time back after wasting so much playing video games I work 50 hours a week for a corporation. If anybody's wasting time, it's me. Just wanted to comment on the prejudice. Kthxbye. (I love full-conversion mods, but this one's got a ways to go. Good luck to the developers.)

Sour grapes. Anyone who pulls the "too much time on their hands" card wishes that they had the free time to do what they love, or regrets spending their free time watching TV instead of being involved in a creative endeavor like these guys. If they can pull it off, this mod will be one of the best things to ever happen to GTA.
