Great idea for a blog; looks really well-done, too. Too bad there's not an RSS feed.

Also a great source for Wikipedia. "You could update Wikipedia with that" is the new "You could build a Beowulf cluster with that". posted by stbalbach at 7:47 AM on June 16, 2007
What makes it for me is the writing seems to be high quality. Even their Sopranos article was good. posted by miss lynnster at 9:23 AM on June 16, 2007
Thanks - I always read the obituaries in my paper - it's one of my favorite sections. I always thought I was a little weird, but now I realize I might have an unrecognized talent! posted by The Light Fantastic at 9:31 AM on June 16, 2007
BTW the "Rocky Mountain Press" mentioned in the article as writer Jim Sheeler's employer should be the "Rocky Mountain News." posted by kozad at 9:49 AM on June 16, 2007
Oops. That wasn't an interview. But this has some background to the site. posted by peacay at 10:00 AM on June 16, 2007
I really liked the Edwin Traisman photographic tribute. Who knew an empty Cheez Whiz bottle could have such poignancy?
He lived a long life. Maybe Cheez Whiz keeps you ticking. posted by hurdy gurdy girl at 12:47 PM on June 16, 2007
If you appreciate obits, be sure to check out the Blog Of Death -- it's been around forever in web-years (2003). posted by davidmsc at 1:20 PM on June 16, 2007

This is cool. thx posted by dozo at 6:59 PM on June 16, 2007
miss lynnster's Sopranos links does not need a spoiler alert. It doesn't go where I think she meant it to. :) posted by The Deej at 8:17 AM on June 17, 2007
The original post URL - half way down the page, has an Obit for a certain character in the series.
They haven't got one for Colin Fletcher yet, author of "The Complete Walker." He started a whole generation and more on backpacking. RIP Colin. posted by caddis at 6:40 AM on June 19, 2007
