Apparently I'm a lesbian, since I like the afterellen list a lot better than Maxim's.

When I saw the last two links, "Some Girls", and "Cars", I thought I would get at least a clever, unexpected link. No such luck. I always look forward to a bit of a Metafilter Rickroll...

I'm admiring the composition and effective use of primary colors in this photo.

really? i was a bit surprised to see that, overall, the afterellen favourites followed pretty much the same beauty paradigm as (what i could see of) the maxim list. The only major difference i could notice is that the maxim photos show more flesh (surprise!) and the afterellen list includes more mature women.
curiously, afterellen writes sanctimoniously of the maxim list: the magazine's annual ode to objectification and then proceeds to do almost exactly the same thing, with almost exactly the same kinds of girls.
oh, but i guess it's not objectification, becoz of the um, emotional identification, um, that they have with all those L Word actresses, or something...?

Tangerine and periwinkle are secondary/tertiary colors. Okay, I'll shut up now.

Cart before the horse, jeflba.
Car Stuck Girls has been around for a while now...it won a Webby back in '04.
(that's how it came to my attention - I don't have any particular fetish for girls in impractical clothing & footwear bogged out in the wilderness somewhere...honestly!)

Gosh. I had a couple hundred Matchbox and Hot Wheels miniature cars when I was growing up, but I never had any miniature girls.
Now I'm more interesting in big, big, boys, of course

I for one was extremely disappointed to find that the "Some car girls" link was not, in fact, some form of creepy anthropomorphism.
Or at least Sally Carrera.
Would you believe Fate Testarossa?

Robert Angelo, send your younger self some of these. If those are too big, or NSFYRA, send him some of these.

Hey, mister, I jammed my E-Type onto this rocks and I can't get it free.
Also, I used to own a lovely 1979 Colt Sapporo, and the brochure had hot dames in evening gowns, next to Bond-type guys driving. I'll look you all out a scan if I can find one. The red tartan interior version was the best.

hm, that e-type jag is proof that enough that carstuckgirls predated 2004.
and what on earth is this?
le discours d'un footballeur explicitant l'existentialisme sartrien.
"the discourse of a footballer explains Sartrean existentialism"?
hm, those frenchies sure know how to do carstuckgirls in style! even the footballers.
imperium: is this what you're thinking of?

Well I'm the type of guy who's into getting high on a Friday afternoon
So now you know I'm a regular Joe and I'll tell you what I like to do
I like to make the scene
In my machine
I like to make the scene
I leave 'em in another state
Whenever I accelerate
I live for Cars and girls, cars and girls
I live for Car, cars and girls
I live for Cars and girls, cars and girls
I live for Car, cars and girls
There's nothing else in this crazy world
Except for cars and girls
I got a lot of good sittin under my hood but it doesn't make me feel alright
The only time I'm feelin fine is when my baby's sittin tight
I like to get it down
I like to feel the sound
I like to get it down
I leave 'em in another state
Whenever I accelerate
I live for Cars and girls, cars and girls
I live for Car, cars and girls
I live for Cars and girls, cars and girls
I live for Car, cars and girls
There's nothing else in this crazy world
Baby you and me will go
A cruisin everywhere we know
We'll take a trip out to the west
Cause the coast's the most
'cause the surfin's best
The fastest car and a movie star are my only goals in life
It's the hippest scene, the American dream and for that I'll always fight
I like to get it down
I like to feel the sound
I like to get it down
I wanna drive the fastest car
I wanna drive the fastest car
I wanna drive the fastest car
Cars, girls, surfin beer
Nothin else matter here
I live for Cars and girls, cars and girls
I live for Car, cars and girls
I live for Cars and girls, cars and girls
I live for Car, cars and girls
