Amazon’s Mechanical Turk converts 26% of surveys into solid leads. Who would expect Amazon's Mechanical Turk to produce a higher conversion rate than you get from Google Adwords, Yahoo Panama, Amazon ClickRiver or MSN Adcenter? Clever idea. You not only gather invaluable marketing information but also solid leads.

I see that your blog is listed on the front page of the link you've posted.

Ours was a brief acquaintance. Shame it wasn't briefer.

These are the new leads. These are the Mechanical Turk leads. And to you they're gold, and you don't get them. Why? Because to give them to you would be throwing them away. They're not for selfposters.

One survey on Amazon's Mechanical Turk?
$250

One metafilter.com account?
$5

Realizing you've posted a self-link and are about to get snarked under the table?
Priceless.

Pyxlin... Pyxlin... isn't that the microbe that causes super-drug-resistent tubercu-AIDS? Stay away from Pyxlin.
