People start pollution, people can stop it! Some people have a deep, abiding respect for the natural beauty that was once this country... and some people don't.

Huh, that's the same voice-over guy who did Reagan's Bear in the Woods ad. He really knew how to work the gravitas.

As an impressionable young boy when this first aired (1971), I stopped littering my housing tract with Bazooka Joe comic wrappers, though none of the suburbanites noticed. They were too busy swapping spouses and drinking highballs after noon rolled around. But the tear from ironically named Iron Eyes Cody left a deep impact on me. To this day, I can't chew bubble gum.
