So you're saying that the assertions of the second link (a Jewish/Zionist/baby-eating cabal pulls the strings behind the scenes on the world stage) are supported by arguments found at the first link, the mad ravings of a Nazi?

I'm not being snarky. Really. I just don't understand the post. Why is the word "acknowledge" linked to Nazi recollections? What does it have to do with the idea that Israel has a big influence on U.S. foreign policy? Is the post implying that Israel is like Nazis? Is the post implying that we give Israel a pass because of past anti-semitism? Is it something else entirely?
I just don't understand it.

Huh? The strong influence of AIPAC on the U.S. government is not exactly unknown or a novel idea. In the last Iraq Appropriation bill that the democrats wrote originally contained a provision that would have made an attack on Iran without congressional approval illegal. But, that section actually came out of the bill, in part because AIPAC lobbied against it.
In any event, I don't think this post is long to live.

Hmm. It's probably fair to say that the average Americans understanding of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is deeply flawed and hopelessly skewed towards the Israeli side, in part becuase the Israelis understand PR and the arabs don't.
It's also true that a lot of Americans treat the word "antisemitic" as if it was synonymous with "critical of Israel".
This, however, probably does not help.

Yeah, but in my experience, however limited it may be, the Left tends discuss the pro-Israel lobby in the US in purely racial terms, which, as a former Lefty, I find reprehensible. Still, not sure what band of the political spectrum Huplescat hails from...

The first link really is pretty interesting, actually. I haven't the patience right now, and there's still no indication of any link between them.
This is actually pretty sad, because there's almost a passable post in here, if you'd taken a bit more time on developing it.

Personally, I find it disturbing that the holocaust has gone from being a thing where 12 million people were killed to a thing where 6 million Jews were killed.
Somebody should do a coherent post on the subject.

You could have just posted about the Mearsheimer and Walt paper if that's what you wanted to talk about. Then someone could have said something like, "Of course there's an Israel lobby, but if they're so effective at stifling all criticism, how is it that Mearsheimer and Walt are getting coverage for their article everywhere?"
Then you could say...well I'm not sure what you would say next, but I'm sure you'd say something interesting.
Then again, I guess there's no need to bother, considering how many times it's been done here before.

i think it's terrible that people are concerned about 900 lb gorillas when it's much smaller primates that are causing all the problems

Good point, there was nothing special, unique, or significant about the Shoah, so why should it have a special denomination? I find it disturbing we refer to Bataan death march and don't include the people who died on D-Day.

First link is to part of Rudolph Hoess' memoir; wikipedia tells me he was commandant of Auschwitz. The extract tells of the compulsion to obey authority.
Second link is to an article on a controversial study of US foreign policy
The relation to the second link is tenuous at best. I can't quite connect it. I think Huplescat is saying something like how Allies couldn't understand why the SS compulsively obeyed authority and noone shot Himmler to save millions of Jewish lives, we don't understand why the US continues to slant its foreign policy to the benefit of a powerful lobby, and any attempts to do so claims anti-semitism.
This is a really poor post; I've seen it better covered previously, in an editorial about how too much attention is paid to the Middle East. And Mearsheimer is well known.
Still the memoirs snippet was interesting.
