Comic Wonder is a new joke telling and rating site. With jokes as audio, would-be comics are able to capture the timing and tone that make many jokes funny.

Dial-a-joke goes Web 2.0. Does anybody else suspect the involvement of Woz?

...too bad most of them don't.

Definitely heavy on the "wonder" and light on the "comic."

At ImprovOlympic in Chicago, they used to (still do?) a midnight thing one day a week after the shows, called one thousand and one. The host gives a thing, and everyone rushes the stage to tell their best improvised "one thousand and one things walks into a bar..." joke. Those who do well live to judge the others; those that do not get judged accordingly, and must do the monkey dance.

Call me when that experience (including the monkey dance) has been converted to Web 2.0, and maybe I'll click.

Pity I don't have Flash, that looks like a neat site.

That would have been a justified comment in 2000. We've moved on since then. You ought to catch up.

If you're thinking of pulling the "open source defence" then I think you'll find that there's a very capable open source rendition of the Flash player.

If you're going to pull the "HTML is all we need" defence, you ought to climb back under that rock.

@humblepigeon - Woz is not behind it but we are definitely trying to track him down.

As for the content...At least we're funnier than MOST 4-day olds. We're brand new, working out some bugs and looking for great joke-tellers.

@anything - know any good Linux jokes?
