That is really, really cool. It seems kind to be kind of an arbitrary choice of medium until you see them and realize that the watch parts really play up the mechanical side of it, in a really Mad Max kind of way.

For some reason, making miniature motorcycles out of watches makes a lot of sense. It's also awesome. posted by puke & cry at 8:44 PM on June 28, 2007
mediareport: that picture made me realize that sculptures like this benefit particularly, I think, from being seen in real life and handled. I bet they have a nice weigh to them that just screams "machine" when they're in your hand. posted by invitapriore at 8:53 PM on June 28, 2007
I'm sure the weigh is great too, but I meant to say weight. Oops. posted by invitapriore at 8:53 PM on June 28, 2007
I pronounce them as having goodness. And I like the Knutz link 2. Thank you. posted by wallstreet1929 at 9:01 PM on June 28, 2007
Great stuff thanks.

What a wonderful world. Thanks for the delight mediareport.
This is really great stuff.
I'd agree with invitapriore that the implied weight of them is a big attraction - not sure why. posted by thatwhichfalls at 10:08 PM on June 28, 2007
