Toy art: tribal scooters, spider car, little animal robots out of broken electrical parts, a color changing house designed by a 14 year old boy, of wood, wind-up, MunkyKing, Ugly Dolls, out of beer cans, with balloons, Cute Things, artoyz, toys from trash, tiny knitted dolls clothes and accessories, vintage and retro at Tick Tock Toys.

Wow, metric tons of fun! And I'd expect no less from indefatigable linking machine nickyskye. There's so much here to peruse, big fun! And thanks for reminding me of the Tick Tock Toys site: that's a good 'un. The old snapshots site there, for example, has some great stuff. Looks like they're not adding new stuff though, still just a coupla pages. Oh well... Thanks for the post!

Really fun links, nickyskye - all wonderful, but I am really loving that Cute Things blog - what a treasure! Also love the knitted doll clothes - the Warhol and Picasso cardigans are too much - and check out these socks. I'll add these very fun creatures - check out the pixelated palz and the bread and toast dolls - cute!

Aren't those scooters amazing?! Flintstones, exactly. Well, with feather headdresses. Could hear the Yabba Dabba Doo sound effects on first sight. The pics were taken by an excellent Filipino photographer, amusingly named (in light of these pics) Harley Palangchao. He has a great Flickr set under his user name there, Harley501, about the Cordillera highlands in the Philippines, where the male villagers of Banaue in the Ifugao province have that fun looking scooter race. Did anybody look at the color changing house and the spider car? *waggy tail*

Their urban designer vinyl concept is very LA and very fun. I love the color changing house. Oh YAYY, dog food sugar. I did Google the dang thing for an hour and couldn't find anything about it, no other pics and the only Jouni Ikonen findable wasn't 14 years old. Somebody with ninja google fu will out it as a hoax or do it justice as a fun housing idea.

Great post, nickyskye! I particularly liked the miniature knitting. The size of some of those doll sweaters blew my mind, especially the scrolling picture in Gallery 1 with about six tiny sweaters balanced on someone's index finger!
