Okay, I was all "what the hell does the village people have to do with skiing", and then the chorus hit. Nice. posted by 23skidoo at 11:48 AM on July 13, 2007
I wish this was about Plastic Bertrand and Pengo, instead of a foreign language version of the Minipops set to animated penguins.
I hope this is geared towards the under five crowd where's it popular, and not the latest pop sensation sweeping the pop charts.
It's like a less interesting version of the Chipmunks with penguins. posted by inthe80s at 11:53 AM on July 13, 2007

Changed lyrics or no, I find the idea of penguins singing Plastic Bertrand highly troubling. posted by Opposite George at 12:35 PM on July 13, 2007
That was horrible. That was an abomination. Unnatural.
It hurt my eyes and my ears. And my delicate, orchid like sensibilities. It was like nails on a chalkboard and stubbing all ten toes at the same time. It was like paper cuts and lemon juice.
I had no idea anything like this existed, and for that, I would like to say thank you. posted by From Bklyn at 1:01 PM on July 13, 2007 [1 favorite]
