You can view clips from Australian feature films, documentaries, TV programs, shorts, home movies, newsreels, advertisements, other historical footage, and sponsored films produced over the last 100 years, with curators’ notes and other information about each title. One of my favorite Aussie movies is Picnic at Hanging Rock, beautiful and eerie.

Nothing at ALL for The Paul Hogan Show? I mean come on, the very program that launched the "Crocodile Dundee" actor into stardom, and was almost the only Australian TV show that Americans saw in the 1980s? Pftht. Well, YouTube to the rescue. I used to enjoy watching it in Tucson in the early 1980s where it followed the Benny Hill Show.

Catering to American views of Australia via Paul Hogan and his sidekick Strop, may be low on the agenda, along with those that watched Alfred Hawthorn Hill.

They tease us with clips....

Then they say we might be able to borrow the movie from the NSFA if we want to watch the whole thing.

Can't they offer the movie on some service like Google for a fee in case some of the clips capture our interest?

Sure I've always wanted to visit Australia, but I'm not flying there just to watch a movie.
