This feels appropriate for, say, early 1990s. I expect to see images along with the chopped up audio nowadays. Especially on Youtube. posted by Kraftmatic Adjustable Cheese at 10:57 AM on July 23, 2007

I laughed at David Attenborough and Adolf Clarkson "made by the luftwaffe". Maybe it's just been a long day at work... posted by patricio at 11:12 AM on July 23, 2007
The Harry Potter ones had me on the floor gasping with laughter. Ow, my jaw is sore. Evil bastards. posted by metasonix at 11:13 AM on July 23, 2007
Sinatra's "And now... my skin is melting away!" got a guffaw out of me. posted by muckster at 11:55 AM on July 23, 2007
The Big Brother ones are fantastic. The rest are too stilted.
Have you not listened to the David Attenborough one? That is pure brilliance. More than makes up for the exploitative weirdness of the Sinatra clips. posted by felix betachat at 12:34 PM on July 23, 2007
Nothing like Stephen Fry passionlessly describing, in intimate and lurid detail, about Harry Potter masturbating. It's very well done, if very much in the realm of slash fic.
Needless to say, this is awesome. posted by slimepuppy at 12:41 PM on July 23, 2007
I didn't care for these puerile, juddering onslaughts until the Attenborough documentary. Now in pain and crying.

Also, Kraftmatic Adjustable Cheese, I'm pretty sure you don't want to see images along with these particular chopped audio clips... posted by slimepuppy at 12:46 PM on July 23, 2007
I don't have time to listen today, unfortunately, but just in case they're not referenced above...
The Party Party: I managed to get all the songs downloaded as an album, and it's great. Looks like you have to pull 'em individually if you want 'em now, though. Look for "white lines" especially.
The Reagans On Drugs: Awkward visual cuts cover the audio edits, but it's still fun to watch, since everything similar done since owes a bit to the original. F the digital movement, this guy did it with film back in '88. posted by davejay at 2:08 PM on July 23, 2007 [1 favorite has favorites]

No, that's far too plausible for slash. posted by lodurr at 2:14 PM on July 23, 2007
