Ouch! The sad reality of the webis that most servers are built to handle thousands of people (not millions, or 100s of thousands, and sometimes not even tens of thousands), as long as they are spread out over a day. It's sad to see a company pay millions for a superbowl ad, but their server is down when you go to visit them. I guess it's not all bad, I hear this epidemic.com company was going to pay people to spam others anyway...

I think the server is back up, but once you get to their page they keep redirecting you to their front page if you try to click the back button in your browser. And only 104K of graphics on their front page. Hmm, 104K x 100 thousand football fans.

Life must imitate art. Remember the IBM commercial where the executive is at a support group telling the story of how he spent millions on an ad and then "didn't tell the web guys"? IBM should run with this.

Their whole marketing idea is to get people to send ads in their e-mails? Serves them right. This is one trend I hope to see crash and burn faster than their server did.

Does anyone think that there is a good possibility that the Virus Scan Companies ( McAfee, etc.) hire people to create viruses for profit??
