Unfortunately, Webhead and PP do not fight each other before realizing they have a common foe, and I doubt we'll be seeing an inter-company crossover between Safe Sex Spidey and Christian Archie anytime soon.

There's a lot of truth in that comic, but at the same time, I thought that the baby stealing alien made a lot of good points also, and maybe the people of the 1970s weren't ready to hear an alien speaking truth like that.

Nice gesture from Marvel Comics to provide their readers with advice on safe sex & contraception, but somehow I think they were preaching to the wrong audience.

I have to wonder what sort of outraged response from the reactionary Christian Right this would provoke if released today. Sad, really. I doubt Stan Lee would be able to pull this off now without having to deal with major backlash.
