And here's number three in a sad day. Michel Serrault, star of La Cage aux Follies and numerous French films, has passed on.

no, offense, but this is a bit bottom of the barrel isn't it?

Although I did like Les Diaboliques.

I must admit I don't know who Michel Serrault was.
But La cage aux folles was a lot funnier than the Hollywood remake The birdcage...

Marvin Zindler and Frank Johnson also died.

Anytime I hear someone say, "They come in threes" I get an immediate snapshot of that person's intellectual capabilities (or lack thereof).

Michel Serrault was in well over 130 movies spanning 6 decades. He was nominated 7 times for the Cesar Awards as best actor and he won 3 times.
This is not 'bottom of the barrel' by any standard.
He was one of the great actors of the cinema. He just didn't come over to Hollywood.
