The "most populars" tend to run heavily towards space and fantasy themes.
Not that there's anything wrong with that. posted by yhbc at 7:40 PM on August 12, 2007
I was bummed that there's no grouping by aspect ratio, considering that landscape vs traditional 4:3 monitors splits a good percentage of the audience down the middle. Also, weird that there's no organization by pixel size. posted by jonson at 7:42 PM on August 12, 2007 [1 favorite has favorites]
jonson, if you're on any of the browse pages you can filter by a particular aspect ratio by clicking "Nothing" next to the "filtering" label. posted by Riki tiki at 8:03 PM on August 12, 2007

Does anyone know where I can get decent pirate related wallpapers in 1600x1200? There seems to be a dearth of them lately. posted by IronLizard at 9:27 PM on August 12, 2007
I really want to try the stuff but haven't been able to find it in Vancouver.

For the lack of widescreen, the kingdom was lost. posted by oxford blue at 2:11 AM on August 13, 2007
Mandolux. That's where you go for interesting, widescreen (and dual-monitor) wallpapers. But I like many of these too, thanks Mitheral. posted by iso_bars at 3:26 AM on August 13, 2007 [1 favorite has favorites]
I did have a look through those, thank you. However the problem is those vector wallpapers seem to me to be a COLOUR!EXPLOSION!WHOOOSSHHH! and look like they where designed by someone on something. Cutesy name aside, most of the stuff on Pixelgirl looks like its for a 12 girl in Harajuku.
InterfaceLIFT (sorted by 1680x1050 and most downloaded, but there are other sorting options) site isn't bad. posted by oxford blue at 5:33 PM on August 13, 2007
