I've always wondered how hard it would be for an average person to make a bow. I mean, our savage ancestors managed to do it, it can't be that hard. Seems like a useful skill to pick up.

I mean, our savage ancestors managed to do it, it can't be that hard. They weren't so savage compared to napalm, nukes, mustard gas and other such 20th century pleasantries. Also, the Mongol bow is quite a well developed piece of technology, especially given its deceptively simple appearance
