That wasn't an ad for Burger King anymore than the Campbell's series was an ad for their soup.
This is what an ad looks like.

Poolio, I know from Warhol, and this ain't much of a Warhol post. You've been hitting the front page pretty heavy lately. Take your time. You don't want me posting the SCUM manifesto again do you?

I hear you, Ambrosia... This is below my usual (high) standard. I'm gonna ask the mods to delete. :)

Poolio loves Ambrosia, Poolio loves Ambrosia!
She's a little too high maintenance for me. ;)

Oh bullshit on that. I'm on record around here, as a damn easy one, my sweet.
But Poolio, you're still my current rookie of the year. (I'm not even a year old yet, though, so my opinion may bear little weight.)

I was just kidding about you being high-maintenance, Ambrosia.
But seriously, thanks for your support.
I'm going for the gold.

That first link plays astonishingly well into my theory that Warhol's entire career was just an elaborate joke he played on an adoring and gullible public.

i was distracted by all the muffled whistles and yelling. which leads one to ask- did andy warhol spend his last years living and making art in the rafters of a high school gymnasium? i bet he did, and this was going to be one cog in his masterwork.

psmealey, a lot of what Warhol did was a joke, but that was an awful interviewer. She asked yes/no questions and Warhol picked up on it and made it joke. The "uh" prefix was a nice touch.

Yeah, that first interview is actually pretty great on Andy's part.
