Isn't Scilly where the original Wicker Man film was shot? The last picture link made me wonder about that. No, it was mostly filmed in Dumfries & Galloway, near Kirckudbright. It's set pretty much in the furthest north, furthest west part of Scotland though I think. The Scilly Isles are the far south, far west part of the UK. Lovely part of the world. The gulf stream hits it smack in the face and fetches a lot of the weather with it. Palm trees are unusual just about everywhere here but there.
