Awesome that he's also getting the checklists autographed by the respective team managers. That's initiative!

I don't particularly like baseball.

I like this very much.

I loved watching this guy from the $1 bleacher seats at exhibition stadium back when baseball mattered to me.

Better keep those away from cortex ....

Also, am I the only one wondering how many of the 1983 guys are dead by now and what maximum percentage of completion it is possible for him to achieve?

Having said all that: this is Grade-A, USDA-certified awesome.

I care very little about professional baseball, but I love a good magnificent obsession. This project is wonderful.

Kind of sad that Bob Horner had to remind folks he was actually Rookie of the Year back in 78.

I like it that the Candyman signed the *back* of the card.

Thanks, mattbucher. I skimmed the site to find that info, but missed the sidebar somehow (I'm an idiot).

Dave Rozema. Sometime around 1980, the prepubescent jonmc was fiddling with his baseball cards and found out he had something like 12 different Dave Rozema cards, making him the most represented player in his collection. Not on purpose.
