Didn't think very much of the video, either. It just didn't flow into each section nicely enough for me. You kind of drift with the animals, then *CLUNK* you are somewhere else, drifting with the animals. The fake focussing thing also seemed out of whack with the overall intended effect, too. Meh.

Can someone make a screensaver out of that thing? Your wish is my command. This is a Quartz Composer file, so Mac OS X is required. Drop it into your ~/Library/Screen Savers folder. You'll need download the "mtv_sagas.mov" QuickTime H.264 file from the original link and drop it into the same folder as well. It's not very processor efficient, but it's pretty to look at.

Meh. Entertaining visually for a short time, but the most boring music I've ever heard. The G major scale intervals 3-1 repeated over and over, with a simple diatonic B -A- G as a bass part. Sounded like something Phillip Glass might have written as a four-bar exercise at age 12.

No. Can you imagine spining the dial, past "Doctors Love Each Other and Do Something in Hospitals", past "Lawyers Outraged and Vainglorious" past "Dastardly Crimes Solved", and seeing this? I was watching it and thinking "This is what should be on TV. For at least ten hours a day..." < derail recently on (German) TV there's a channel that is off the air when I turn on the TV (admittedly very late at night) and all that's displayed is a little 'Windows' window in which is written - "We'll be right back." I'm all for that, anything to disrupt the relentless high-gloss lacquer of M-E-D-I-A and remind people there's a tremendous amount of other shit they could be thining about... /derail

So no, you will not *only* see it in South America. /derail/: people, please, if you want to group, say, Mexico plus Nicaragua, Brazil, etc., it is NOT South America. The first country would be in North America, the second in Central America, and the third in South America. The correct term would be Latin America.
