Brits of my age will enjoy the sight of comb-over quizlord Robert Robinson as your guide in the 1979 documentary at the main link.

I wish I could see that Brightcove.com movie, but none of my browsers will run it. Thanks for the links though, I was completely unaware of this fascinating topic.

What a shame sidereal. It seems to be a fairly standard Flash player. Does the second Brightcove link (on the making of the movie version of Treasure) also not work?

Can't find it on bittorrent, either.

Thanks for posting this, Abiezer. I am very much looking forward to checking it out.

It plays fine for me with Firefox 2.0.0.6.

Also what I'm using dhammond (and on Linux, no less). It's really quite some tale, and you get John Huston interviewed too.

I need to upgrade my Flash (again). Let me repeat that 'm grateful for the post and the links, it's fascinating. It makes me want to read the Treasure of the Sierra Madre book instead of only having watched the movie a long time ago.

This is a great film and great story. They probably got it right, mystery solved - not proof positive, but the evidence is very strong. The Wikipedia article is sadly confused.
