		<description>Many of the elements mentioned make sense. I don&apos;t think those sample pages are necessarily the best layout. Especially since the complete news story is still another click away. Certainly the &quot;related news stories&quot; add a lot of stickyness.</description>

		<description>I think the Amazon interface is appealing because &lt;i&gt;there are no ads&lt;/i&gt;, or what &quot;ads&quot; there are are for other content on the site that is really related to what you&apos;re doing.  People actually look at the stuff in the sidebars at Amazon because it&apos;s valuable information, not just unrelated advertisements.</description>
