Being the gearhead that I am...that's the coolest thing i've seen all week.

Too bad they don't have a complete cycle, though at the rate they were filming (assuming it wasn't digital), maybe they couldn't rig the camera with enough film.

Wow. Neat!

Kinky . . . oh wait wrong thread I'm down one.

This is actually somewhat frightening.

The only thing better would have been enough film to see the whole thing up to actual speed (and yeah, that would be hard to actually see, but still cool).

Very cool. It would be neat to see this with a 2 stroke engine as well.

Sure, it looks great but it'll never catch on. Now, help me get this endoscope up me horse's arse.

Very cool, thanks!

As someone who studied combustion engine design in college, this is cool. I wish we had had something like this.

Cool; can we get an Ottocycle tag?

Suck, SQUASH, Bang, Blow, you mean, right?

A nearly perfect double. A bit eerie, actually.

Somehow, 40+ years ago, when I was learning about Otto cycle engines, I always pictured spark ignition as being more violent. Before electronic ignition and thin electrode platinum plugs, maybe it was, but it's hardly noticeable in this video.

Great find, Armitage Shanks!

So cool. Makes me want to dig up my die grinder and give porting and polishing another try.

This would be cooler if they would stick things in the combustion chamber and we could watch what happens to it. Things like a french fry, a pinball, a tamagotchi, and so forth.

Is it so wrong that I want to see a video of an engine throwing a rod?
