Warning: useless Flash, animated GIFs, slow loading, annoying, buzzing, warped up piece of work. [Requires Flash and Pepto Bismol to view.] Even though this is a site for a radio station, I figured something was amiss when I was scared to click past the splash page...
I was immediately turned off when a Javascript alert popped up, saying the site uses Flash, and would I like to download it now? Considering I already have Flash installed, that made me hit 'back' tout suite.

Ah c'mon. You have to appreciate any page that gives the impression that Anthony Kiedes's crotch is being rubbed all over the screen.

CD 94.7 representing the great city of Chicago. As a lifelong Chicagoan, I can honestly say that this is my proudest moment.

Since when did radio have a visual understanding. For years radio stations have had some of the worst print and billboard campaigns -- show pictures of the *crazy* morning crew dressed in drag, etc.
Alternatively, there is some hope provided in the links above.

Jennyb: 97X - Bam! The future of rock and roll. A great station with a great site. Ah, college nostalgia...

Aaugh! - I was going to mention 97X's site, as it was the first thing I thought of when I heard "all radio sites are bad." Going to Miami over here, and I love 97X.

What do you want out of a radio station's site? What information would you want?
My answer: tell me who your DJs are, tell me what songs you play, tell me about your silly tie-ins and sponsors, and give me a history of your station.
