Well I liked it. posted by Artw at 11:17 AM on October 23, 2007
Completely unfunny...until I realized you have to start at the bottom and that each character defeats the previous one. Still not that funny, but at least it's somewhat clever. posted by DU at 11:19 AM on October 23, 2007
Yeah, it really makes more sense when you start from the bottom. posted by malaprohibita at 11:27 AM on October 23, 2007
Is the word "vanquished" with an arrow pointing down, and the previous hero really that confusing? I do agree that presenting it in the other order would make more sense, but I guess this way the newest character is always at the top. I also wish I could draw. posted by chunking express at 11:34 AM on October 23, 2007
I liked it. I started at the bottom as previously mentioned. I agree with the clever comment. posted by studentbaker at 11:36 AM on October 23, 2007

Not confusing at all, once you realize what's going on. But I didn't even look over at "that navigation stuff", I just scrolled down the page. Single panel cartoons are fairly common on the internets I frequent, I didn't know I'd need a primer. posted by DU at 11:40 AM on October 23, 2007
The typo in this FPP would actually make a great superhero name. He consumes everything and makes other people's powers his own, like an evergrowing circle in a venn diagram. posted by East Manitoba Regional Junior Kabaddi Champion '94 at 11:42 AM on October 23, 2007 [1 favorite]
Uh, the site is "The Superest", not "Superset"... posted by wendell at 11:43 AM on October 23, 2007
I like to misspell stuff in my FPP, it keeps people on their toes. posted by chunking express at 11:53 AM on October 23, 2007
Yeah, I had no idea the page was sorted in defeating order. posted by delmoi at 11:57 AM on October 23, 2007
{x : 0<Re(x)<½ and &zeta(x)=0} is a pretty super set. Maybe. posted by Wolfdog at 11:57 AM on October 23, 2007

I like it. Took me a while to figure out that they were linked - then I saw that clown business and it all made sense. posted by Mister_A at 1:16 PM on October 23, 2007

chunking express, blasdelf was showing us the set of things that can defeat Batman. posted by cortex at 8:02 AM on October 25, 2007
That doesn't make sense cortex. I think it'd look something like this: { Eartha Kitt, Julie Newmar }. Meow. posted by chunking express at 11:16 AM on October 25, 2007
Kitt & Newmar never defeated Batman cuz they always let him keep his utility belt. posted by ZachsMind at 4:27 PM on October 25, 2007
