I think it's telling that he's the only candidate in the article that didn't get highlighted by Flyswat. So now that he's gone the way of Orrin Hatch, will he still pursue a case against Dan Savage?

The only thing that springs to mind regarding this turn of events is "ding, dong, the witch is dead." Except he never came into power, thankfully.
