Your moving story about the pies reduced me to tears. What's the point of recycling your mice as pies if the pies will only get smashed? It's political correctness gone surreal. Also Joe, I don't want to show you up by actually thinking about the orange juice problem for 0.00032 seconds but wouldn't it be possible to take along your own container? Maybe you could carry your juice home in it and then use it yet again when it's empty! If I have any more completely original world-shattering ideas, I'll make sure someone tattoos them 6 inches up your poop flue where you'll be more likely to stumble across them. I do like a regular dose of HYS, it seems to be an absolute magnet for immigrant hating loons who firmly believe the UK has been destoyed by a Labour government. Adorable. This is hilarious... and more than slightly worrying that there are so many of that sort out there. Is this to allow more imigrants in to this country as they said this week that the population will rise 15 million by 2050 and yet we have no resources for them let alone british people - why not compulsory purchase one of the valleys in south wales and put a dam accross it then we would have water and hydroelectric power for all - That might just be a bit to simple for this government. And from the same person. "What is your favourite film of all time?" It has to be Forest Gump because their is a little bit of him in all of us. Utter genius. Perhaps we really are living on Daily Mail Island.

I'm flummoxed by the praise here. This is not one-thousandth as bad as usenet, or for that matter the "comments" responses in the online Globe and Mail (among too many examples- post one or two letters sections to the Hammond (Ind) Times, my hometown paper- it's incredibly more extreme than this). Okay, I know, if I hate it so much, make my own xenophobic comments blog. Meantime, I don't even find most of these comments that extremist.

I'm with ethnomethodologist: some of the snark is rightly deserved, but other posts are really not that unreasonable, even if I disagree with them. I know it's hip to make fun of people you disagree with rather than actually making a good point, but I'm far more impressed by people who can make hilarious fun of stupid arguments, rather than the posters themselves.

This is quite good. And kind of restating brownpau's point, but I would love to see this done with youtube comments. They can be very, very funny, but it would be nice to have them filtered; because when I read them en masse, the anger switch in my brain clicks over to 'hurt something' and that's not fun for anyone.

I'm with ethnomethodologist and oneirodynia. I've heard worse (unfortunately) in my own neck of the woods. I like the idea of the site, but I think there's better examples of xenophobia and racism out there than the comments printed here.
