There used to be (and surely still is - I bet Google would find it for you) a program you could run under DOS called JIVE.EXE. It said "what it is" and "sheeeit" and turned "the" in to "tha" and so on. It was pretty OK at the time. 20-odd years later, the same thing inexplicably feels tired and lame.
