The site does appear to be his, at least the domain, and his own site has this "plea" listed as his latest artistic work. What's that old newspaper promotion saying? Only bad news is no news? He's certainly going to get at least some media attention for this. It's quirky and it hasn't been done recently in the public consciousness's memory. Oh -- and DNS propagations are pretty wild these days. The days of buying a domain and waiting two days is pretty passe. Dear Patrick, I'm pretty sure I don't know her. I haven't ridden the 5 train to Bowling Green in awhile, since I moved from downtown Brooklyn years ago. Oh wait, I did ride it like a year-and-a-half ago to go to a friend's party in Dumbo, but that's a distant sob from 9:30pm on Nov. 4, 2007. It was a fun party, though. Excellent crab dip. Come to think, she does look a bit like my friend Sarah, but I'm pretty sure the shorts-over-tights look isn't her style. Although who knows, I haven't seen her in like a month or two. i'm not tall or skinny, and have very little hair, but i'm afraid that i must (after 7-8 years of denying it) finally self-identify as a hipster because i: listen to indie rock, ride a bicycle, wear $1 t-shirts, and occasionally drink cheap beer, especially in bars (i also drink good beer when i'm feeling flush). PBR is not bad. neither is Old Milwaukee or Busch. please don't hate me. in my twenties, i would fall in love at first sight with all sorts of women. after the 13th or so time, i realized it probably wasn't love. also, for goodness sake, TALK TO WOMEN (AND MEN) WHOM YOU THINK YOU MIGHT LIKE. indeed it can be very painful to be embarrassed with a bad response, but it's over in a few minutes and preferable to never knowing what might have happened. btw, has anyone called the number yet? that seemed like an incredibly bad idea.

I don't think hipsters exist. I can never seem to get anyone to admit to being one, and the people I meet that most closely conform to the accepted standard claim to hate them with a passion. This isn't really a new phenomenon. I used to know at least a dozen "Spooky" types who had a million good reasons why Goth was other people.
