Ron Paul Creates a Shockwave, raises 4.2 million in a single day.Dr. Paul is on his way to the Republican nomination. Many call him a Libertarian but the truth is he’s a Republican with traditional constitutional values (not the ever shifting values dictated by the Republican party leaders). The main stream media is finally starting to pay attention. His message is resonating and people are coming on board daily! He is also outselling Al Gore and OBama and is now on the best sellers list. Dr. Ron Paul is a supporter equal rights for all people and strong advocates fixing the mess with the Federal Reserve and our goverments slap happy ways of "printing of money out of thin air". Check him out, you just may agree with what he has to say.

I will disagree with him until he decides to build a bridge to Asia like my hero Lyndon LaRouche. Also, why is Ron Paul silent on the fact that Queen Elizabeth II is a reptilian?

In retrospect, this wasn't the worst FPP ever, but I'll be damned if it doesn't lend credence to the idea that, say, 95% of RP supporters are semi-delusional or entirely delusional:

"Dr. Paul is on his way to the Republican nomination." Well once he gets elected and decriminalizes drugs, give me an eighth of whatever it is you're smoking, bud.

Other than as a disguised appeal to authority, was there any good reason to reference him as "Dr. Paul"? Since what's relevant to his campaign is his service in Congress, wouldn't it be more appropriate to call him "Congressman Paul"?

The only time people said "Dr. Frist" was when they either wanted to rub the respectability of MEDICINE off on him or drive home the irony.

Anyway, anybody who seriously thinks there's a prayer in hell of Ron Paul getting the nomination (short of all the other candidates being killed in a nuclear exchange) really needs to get out and get some fresh air.

Ron Paul was a hoot in the Brady Bunch movies, but I seriously doubt the GOP will accept a female impersonator as their nominee. (This is also the reason Giuliani won't get the nod.)

It's unfortunate that this FPP was written this way. There is a potentially interesting discussion to be had with regard to what, if anything, it means to raise $4.2 million in a day.

Given how much the best funded campaigns spend, it seems to me that he would have to raise $4.2 million per day for quite a few days before it began to mean much of anything.

Don't get me wrong, though. I would very much like to have a libertarian (or a Republican with traditional constitutional values, as it were) in the White House. I certainly hope that Dr. Paul's $4.2 million in a day help shake things up.
