I will always thank him for introducing me to the talented little North Korean beauty in the clip on this page. He used to have a lot of fascinating North Korean clips posted - they are probably still tucked away somewhere in his labyrinth of sites.

Do you think that the silly hat, the big glasses and the outlandish outfits are so that the hot asian chicks can't see that underneath he's an overweight, none too attractive, aging barbarian? He reminds me a bit of that guy who used to be on US cable tv, who would talk girls into showing their tits off for camera, back in the days when a video cam was pretty rare. What the hell was his name? Ugly George?

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! OH MY DEAR BUDDHA! WOW! Thank you all very much! I really appreciate it and can't stop laughing at all of your very funny and witty comments. Too much fun! And, yes, I just recently joined Mefi here and have made a few replies and (hopefully) have helped some folks out in some way or another. Indeed, I am very happpy and quite honored to be a part of this very intelligent and very well-known online community. Thank you all very much for your support and I will do my best to help out others as much as I can. My main subjects of interest are internet video, video technology, video editing, 3D animation, photography, Japan, Japanese TV, the Japanese language, Korea, Kim Il-Sung, Kim Jong-il, and much more from other countries in Asia. And, actually, I am, in fact, one of the very first video bloggers on the web starting back in the summer of 2000 on singlereel.com and the now-defunct radicalzoo.com. My old friend in California, who plays the infamous "Evil Pongi" character, introduced me to video production and editing back in those days. And then in December 2000, another American friend of mine here in Tokyo and I launched the almighty TokyoDV and you can see an old archived page from our early days here: TokyoDV.com March 2001 and as you can see back then we had four (4) entire videos on the front page! WOW! Four videos! Where we there yet? Well, obviously, times have changed quite a bit since then and so very much has happened so fast that I myself am often just totally blown away by it all. And to help make some sense of the happy madness, we have an online FAQ here: Online FAQ And I know that there are some folks out there who understand and like it all and others who don't and, often, because of that, some of them HATE ME! Yes, its true and it so very funny to read some of the old "I HATE ROB PONGI!" forum posts et al. Too much fun! And one of my biggest influences in my ongoing production is the legendary Andy Kaufman who once said: " I am not a comic, I have never told a joke....The comedian's promise is that he will go out there and make you laugh with him....My only promise is that I will try to entertain you as best I can." And in my case, I'm not really a clown or comedian or artist, I'm more like an art object, and believe me, I have heard ALL of the objections! Thank you all again and stay tuned for more!
