This is interesting, but the pink layout (FF00CC or whatever it is) meltered my eyeballs.

Also be warned this site starts playing music right away, too (reminds me of the MIDI website days of 7 years ago).

There's something soothing about an outraged WASPy voice reciting a bowdlerized litany of sex acts -

From the first video: "He blanked my blank. He blanked my blank blank until 5 am. I danced for him and stuck a blank up my blank. I blanked all over us in bed."

It's that tone of voice - both outraged and intrigued - that Fox has mastered.

That's from the Anna Nicole Smith diary, in case anyone was wondering. You can read the entry without the blanks here.

Is there some way I can register my approval of that clever video without creating the impression that I was titillated by it?

'Cuz that was soooo gooooood. Mmmmm.

"We don't let our conservative values get in the way of showing you hot, young bodies... ...hand picked by the king of porn, Bill O'Reilly."

That's was pretty good.

Dear god, was that really Anna Nicole Smith's diary? C'mon, was she really that dumb?
I thought it was just an act.

We gotta take their pixelizer away from them.

I don't know. I find it really kind of boring to hear someone being outraged by the hypocrisy of Fox News. Seriously, you would have to be an idiot to watch it for 10 minutes and not realize it is just a load of bull meant to appeal to a specific demographic. It is about as subtle as a soap opera or other highly targeted programming.

Ahh. Good link. Reminds me of an old episode of Maury Povich, when he had as his guest a guy who owned a strip club. Maury was ripping the guy for "exploiting" strippers for money. Too bad the strip club owner was a first-rate moron, because the most obvious comeback would have been pointing out the ridiculousness of Maury Povich lecturing someone on exploitation.

Amusing- until it told me to "Psssttt, do something."
Out of all the crap Fox broadcasts I'm really supposed to be upset about sex?

The best part is that the more FOX protests the more publicity it will generate, and it is the truth of FOX. I can't wait to see what kind of babes they will come up with for the WSJ, page six.

Why does Anna Nicole refer to herself as "Robyn?"
posted by astruc at 7:54 PM on November 15, 2007

Robyn and Nikki were two of the stage names she used before settling on Anna Nicole when she was striping in Texas. No doubt the part of my brain that held that info could be better used for just about anything but there ya go.

I'm a little confused, so this is some whiner bitching about how Fox lowered its news standards? If so, they can get sued for using the Fox logo.
posted by dasheekeejones at 3:53 AM on November 16, 2007

dasheekeejones, Think they are fully protected from losing if they are sued due to the obvious parody. Won't stop Fox from suing, just winning.

It's somewhat amusing, but I'm not really sure who it's aimed at. Who's going to change their mind about Fox News from watching this?
