Oobject.com is a website that is "...like the Billboard Charts for Gadgets." Oobjects picks topics for lists of gadgets. People suggest items and others vote on which qualify for a given category: Giant Screens | Best Concept Cellphones | Crazy Bicycles. "The site also takes on other aspects of life, like politics and culture...:" Macy's Parade Ideas | Best Halloweenerd Costumes | Geek Hall of Fame Apple Users. [via]

Well, I was going to start blogging a weekly list of the lamest digg-bait lists of the week. Now I don't have to.

That was worth it for the "Fetish Darth Vader" alone, the rest is just icing.

John Hodgman is pretty much the reason I stick with with my PC. (Well, okay, it's mostly that smug Mac dude and my anorexic pocketbook.) Still, I don't see any irony in a guy from the Mac commercials using a Mac.

people dig lists, that's for sure. i kinda like it, though i'll probably never visit again ... until they create a random list for something i'm interested in.

i really like how clicking on an image takes me to a page with a larger version of the image and no actual information and then clicking on the larger image takes you to another site with actual words. by which i mean i didn't like that at all.
