I think most people would rather have Hello Kitty toast. Actually, instead of the weather or Hello Kitty, I'd want toast that has predictions of the 8-ball variety (un)burned into it. I want to munch on "Without a Doubt."

I can see a huge market for toasters with customizable images. Mac freaks could buy a translucent toaster that brands your toast with an Apple; Linux users could go for the penguin. Windows users could get a toaster that turns their toast blue.
