As for Vagina Dentata try the following Queen of Wands comic strip which has a fun set of lyrics.

As for the movie, I saw the preview a few days back on a radfem blog and was stunned when I learned it was for a real movie and wasn't an exceptionally well made joke.

And finally: WTF is with the Vagina Dentata phobia/myth? I mean people get fricking blowjobs, involving an actual orifice with real, non-mythical, teeth, but you don't see people with phobias about that, do you?

There appears to be a subset of men who apparently live their lives in constant, neverending, pants wetting, terror of castration, a state that confuses me greatly. I mean, it isn't like it happens frequently. But take Tucker Carlson's reaction to a male to female transexual, he seemed genuinely terrified about the surgical procedure. Its weird.

It's just a fear of women and female sexuality. Men have mouths. It's unclear to me that this movie rises above it (not like the horror genre is the place to start).

Psycho-babble remixed into a wannabe horror movie, is my take on it.

I've never heard of any such vagina-dentata myth or urban legend.
