So, in case I were ever on a self-imposed hermitage in a cave with internet access and had restricted myself from forums, instant messaging, and any other medium of social interaction, I would be able to tell when it was time to climb down the mountain and join in the festivities.

I'm pretty sure there is am "IS IT CHRISTMAS" graffiti'd on the parking garage near my work. A big spraypainted silver "NO!". It's amazingly accurate. I've been passing it by for months and it's always right.
