The bike of my dreams? A Trek Madone. Sadly, it was about $7,300 over my budget. Yeah, I know, carbon fiber has spoiled me. It would be mighty hard to complain about a shiny new steel Bianchi, though.

That Schwinn Krate. Small front tire. 5 speed. front wheel suspension and a smooth ass ride. Had a relation who would let me ride it occasionally. Brings back memories. Damn what a genius little bike, hard to find though....

I have an affinity for vintage bicycles and I've wanted one of those early 60s chrome Spaceliners for a while now. I have '67 Schwinn Collegiate and a JC Higgins bike very similar to this.

Also, I was pleasantly surprised last month to learn that Mercian hadn't become a brand name bought at auction by a holding company in California to rebadge crap frames from China.
