As the Giuliani "it's not embezzling if you pay the police" story is already dangerously close to self-parody, I humbly request that we ignore this for the time being. We cannot allow the terrorists to destroy America's already-fragile sense of reality.

As conduits of reality, our media has a special responsibility to safeguard this nation from the terrorist threat, and every citizen a solemn duty to maintain their own reality at all costs.

So which of these web pages contained such unique and interesting content that you felt compelled to put pointers to them on metafilter?

You've got to hand it to him: the guy doesn't give a fuck.

Especially about ferrets.

"A Salon photo composite of Rudy Giuliani with a map of Qatar."

Fuck, I knew he was the one who took my map of Qatar.

In other words, as incredible as it might seem, Rudy Giuliani—whose presidential candidacy is steeped in 9/11 iconography—has been doing business with a government agency run by the very man who made the attacks on 9/11 possible.
I didn't know Giuliani was friends with Dick Cheney — or the emir of Qatar — but I'm glad he's finally found some people who can bring some integrity to his campaign. Well done, Rudy.
