Coloring is fun! Engage kids and get your message across with soothing, simple style!

Print these .pdfs for the little ones in your life to color. Together, learn a little grown-up wisdom about Being a Witness in Federal Court, Disaster Preparedness, Food Safety with Thermy™, Why Elephants Cry, Biomedical Research with the Lucky Puppy, or how the United Nations is a very bad organization made up of foreign countries who do not want you to be free, with Brasco!

The Japanese government, with the help of bad people in America, want to take away your right to own and enjoy guns. They tell people that America should be more like Japan, where the people can’t own guns. They don’t tell people that in Japan, people can be held in prison without food or water until they confess to crimes they didn’t commit.

How fun!

If you act now, you can still get Brasco the Bear T-shirts featuring the rifle-toting cartoon bear with the all-caps legend "SOME LAWS ARE BAD." Ash grey "golf" shirt, Adult small only. I just ordered 5.

That Brasco shirt is so insanely awesome. Half Winnie the Pooh, half Teddy Roosevelt, 100% ready to defend the right of Americans to own firearms. Hopefully they will replenish their stock in time for oral arguments in District of Columbia v. Heller.

Yes, yes, bear arms, I know. I got it. Brasco the Bear.

Admiral, I think he resembles Cheney a bit, too.

Excuse me for a moment. I'm going to go grab a glass of milk and whip up a batch of Goody Guns* so I can have a snack while I do my coloring.

Goddamnit! This Large Adult wants a Brasco the Bear t-shirt! That has to be the most awesome shirt I've seen in months.

The Black Panther Coloring Book.

You'll never look at your 'flesh colour' crayons the same way again.

Do your part to save our kids – if you don’t, the American dream will die, and your children and mine will be slaves.

This was 1998. Are we there yet?

Fortunately, Al Gore was defeated in 2000, so no not yet.

Re: the Black Panther Coloring Book, it's proported to be an FBI COINTEL propaganda piece.

Hilarious, though.

My dad brought the kid an NSA Cryptokids coloring book after his visit to a gift shop in an undisclosed location.

Also, an NSA teddy bear we call Spy Bear, as in "See? He's spying on you right now, honey."

M is for Mathowie. Mathowie is one of the worst dictators on the Internet. If you interfere with the operations of Metafilter, he will have you and your family killed in your sleep.

Every night after dinner, he drinks a pint of baby seal blood from the skull of a kitten.

If you believe the things Mathowie tells you, you will never know the fun of <>.

From the makers of Brasco the Bear comes Freedom Music TM! In particular, "Blues Thang" (mp3, pops) makes me want a gun.

Aww. It looked all right in preview, but I guess trying to type "img" between the "<>" with a space on either side of the word doesn't work.

Great post. I love the way the researcher helps both the puppy and the "sick mice" get better. No dead lab rats to color!

"So, how did the mice get sick in the first place, Doctor?"
"Never mind. Here's your puppy, kid."

Fortunately, Al Gore was defeated in 2000, so no not yet.

I love it when ludicrous partisan fools make Al Gore jokes. Next time you should follow it up with a Kennedy joke, or maybe one of those fantastic Lewinsky laughers.

My computar is somehow unable to load these new-fangled PDF files. Darn.

I'm just going to have to assume that these are as awesome as the L&O coloring book. Though that's hard to imagine as it's one of the awesomest things since sliced awesome.

You forgot the "TM" notification after Brasco. There's something cute about a pretend 11-year old trademarking the name of his bear.

Don't want to be casting aspersions on the post, but these PDF's could use a bit of compressing. 4Mb is a bit large for what they contain.

Fact, you can't HAVE a killing field without gun control.
