Of course MS pulled the app so none of that is going to work. he exchange ended with the writer and Santa calling each other "dirty bastard." Yeah, an Eliza type app will do that to you, since it basically repeats back re-phraed bits of the conversation you're having with it. The response to "Eat it" though seems to originate from the bots stock responses, and is quite embarassing.

I apparently made the mistake of IM'ing Santa Claus on AIM at some point in my life. The damn bot won't leave me alone, and it seems you can't add it to your blocklist. Oddly enough, I have managed to get him to stop talking/responding to me by hurling curse words at him.

oh my god that's hysterical. Sohn said Microsoft was not aware that the Santa code included the foul language, but insisted the company did not suspect an employee prank. yes, because someone coded Santa responding to "eat it" with "I don't want to talk about Oral Sex" for perfectly legitimate reasons.

I suspect it was kind of like one of those responses you get from text adventure games, where you type "CRAP" or "POOP" or something and it responds "I don't think that's a very nice thing to say", only instead of "I don't think that's a very nice thing to say" it says "Don't take a shit in here!" and instead of just responding to "CRAP" or "POOP" it also responds to "SIT IN CHAIR".
